Welcome Home Stallions!

Our return to play program is working well so far.  On June 30th, the province moved into Step 2 of the re-opening of the province.  In accordance with the re-opening plan, we have amended play in the following ways. 

Practices will still be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  House League and Bantam aged players (2007-2012) will practice from 7pm-8:30pm. 

All Varsity and Junior Varsity players (2001-2006) will practice from 7:30-9pm.  Start times are staggered to help with social distancing.  All participates and coaches must wear their mask to and from the fields. 

Masks are not required while working out on the fields.

All practices this week will be held at the Barrie Sports Complex. 

We are condensing the number of fields and bringing the divisions together in order to introduce new concepts and to continue developing our Stallions. 

Colts will now be on two fields, Ponies & Mustangs will share one field and Varsity & JV will share one field.

Mustangs and Ponies – Field 6
Varsity and JV – Field 3

For those families who are signed up for House League in Orillia, please know it is our full intention to begin Tuesday night practices in Orillia on July 13th at the West Orillia Sports Complex. 

Thursday night practices will remain at the Barrie Sports Complex for all participants.

Please come dressed for practice (athletic attire and cleats/running shoes) as there will be no changerooms available.

Please bring your own water, there will be no water provided, nor will the taps be accessible for use, and no sharing of water is permitted.

Spectators are still not permitted at field levels. 

There is a NEW policy regarding the COVID Screening requirements. 

Upon arrival at the field, there can be absolutely no congregating in large groups, players are to proceed directly to their assigned field. 

Each player is required to fill out a COVID screening form prior to arriving at the field and submit it to the coach at the field. NO player will be allowed to play until the form is completed and submitted. 

There will be a few extra forms at the field for special cases.

We are finalizing equipment pick up dates for the week of July 12th. 

We are also going to begin flag football games on Friday nights during the week of July 12th.

We are very excited to continue taking steps toward a return to football and a return to normalcy.
