Stallions run the table in Weekend action Bantam Tailback scores five touchdowns


The Huronia Stallions Varsity Football team improved to 1-2 on the season with a 22-14 victory over the Clarington Knights.  The Stallions won the game on the strength of two big plays on special teams.  Linebacker Tyler Butler managed to block a Clarington punt and recover the fumble for a touchdown.  Johnny Obdam also scored on special teams on a fake field goal.  Dan Vandervoort caught a touchdown pass from Tivon Cook to round out the scoring.  The Stallions next game is Saturday at 6:30 against Sudbury at the Barrie Sports Complex.

The Huronia Stallions Junior Varsity team improved to 3-0 with a solid 28-0 victory over the Toronto Junior Argos.  The Stallions are now ranked 10th in the Province by canadafootballchat.com  .  Quarterback Adam Zussino rushed for a touchdown and threw two touchdowns to Wide Receiver Jesse Alves.  Fullback John Shields rushed for the other score.  The Stallions next game is Saturday at 2:30 against the Twin City Predators at the Barrie Sports Complex.

The Huronia Stallions Bantam Football team improved to 2-2 on the season with a 39-0 victory over the Clarington Knights.  The star of the game was tailback Will Pullen who posted an unbelievable five rushing touchdowns.  The Stallions defence only yielded two first downs in what was nothing short of a dominating performance.  The Stallions next game is this Sunday at 1 PM against Toronto at the Barrie Sports Complex.
