ACTION 2002 VS OSHAWA, OTTAWA CUMBERLAND, BRAMPTON. sAULT SAINT mARIE, HALTON.
CONGRATULATIONS TO IAN SHAW and ADAM ROGERS as they have been chosen to play for Team Ontario in the Canada Cup on July 13 in Ottawa. Team Ontario represented by OVFL players went undefeated during the recent Canada Cup tournament held in Ottawa. Ontario defeated New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in the preliminary round. Ontario then went on to play Manitoba in the gold medal game. Team Ontario scored 38 points in the fourth quarter to defeat the silver medallist from Manitoba. Pictured in the team photo is Stallion Ian Shaw (middle of goal post). To Ian's right is Stallion Adam Rogers. Congratulation to both players and the whole Ontario Varsity football League. Adam was selected to the 24 man tournament all star team, the only Ontario O Linemen to be selected.
