It is with sadness and disbelief the passing of Ryan Clarke #30. Ryan passed away in a car accident on the weekend. The football community and all that knew Ryan feel the pain and the emptiness of his passing, none more than Ryan's family. Our thoughts, hugs and prayers go out to Ryan's Family.THANK YOU, to all the Stallion players, coaches and families who attended Ryan's funeral.
2003 VARSITY STALLIONS
Stallion Team Ontario members( Adam Rogers, Ian Shaw, Patrick Mercer) compete at the Canada Cup in Ottawa, July 5th July 12th. Ontario wins National championship. Ontario 24 Alberta 21

WEEK ONE VS SUDBURY The Stallions defeated the Sudbury Northerners 40 - 0 at the Barrie Sports Complex. Some of the game highlights were:
Offensively, QB Kendell Scott attempts 18 completions 13, no interceptions, 1 touchdown. SB Will Northcote, 11 Catches 219 yards. RB Devin Brown, 23 carries 143 yards 3 touchdowns
Defensively, S Greg Van Bolderen 45solo tackles, 9 assists 1 QB sack. Ryan Clarke, DB 2 solos, 4 assists 1 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery.
Special Teams, Spud Ross, 1 punt recovery for a touchdown and a 2 point safety. Jesse Batchelor made good on all converts and one field goal.
WEEK THREE VS OTTAWA CUMBERLAND A total team effort produced a 15-14 victory for the Stallions. The Stallions trailed 14-0 at the half as the offense was unable to muster a drive. Penalties also contributed to the first half deficit.



Offensively, After being shut out in the first half, the horses finally began to put drives together which produced 2 touchdowns. RB Devin Brown had both touchdowns. Guts effort by receivers Hoang Ngnyen and Mark Russell.
Defensively, The defense kept the team in contention to win the game. The defense shut down Ottawa in the second half. Individual efforts by Adam Hrytzak 2 sacks, Mark Dawson interception, Steven Gardiner interception and Greg Van Bolderen leading tackler.
Special Teams, For the second game in a row the special teams contributed to the victory. FB Ron Maddocks' fake punt in the fourth quarter helped to keep a drive going. Greg Van Bolderen blocked an Ottawa punt also in the fourth quarter. Field goal kicker Jesse Batchelor attempted a 20 yard field goal. The kick was wide however, the ball ended up out of the end zone for a rouge which made the score 15-14.




Week 4 vs Toronto Thunder






Offensively, The Stallions moved the ball in the air so effectively that QB Kendall Scott broke 2 OVFL records, most attempts and most completions. Unfortunately the Thunder shut down the Stallion running game. Game hilites, QB Kendall Scott 42 Att 25 Com, 302 yards. All the Receivers contributed to the record. The OL gave Kendall time to complete his passes.
Defensively, It was a long day for the Defense as the Thunder offense was relentless especially on the ground. The Thunder racked up over 400 yards on the ground. Jesse Gorda led the defense with 6 solo tackles.
Note: A weak first half have hurt the stallions all year.
