Describing Dan is a difficult task to say the least, but if one has to encapsulate the type of person and football player he was it can be done with three words; "The complete package". Dan played the game strong, fast and fair. He always encouraged, yet did not let up in order to hammer home the point or the drill. He excelled in football but more importantly Dan excelled in the way he conducted his life, not only was this noted by his teammates and coaching staff, but by others in the community.  Dan had a distinct love for the game, he showed up for every practice and game with an enthusiasm that every coach wishes for. Sometimes the brightest lights are extinguished too quickly for the beholder, this was especially true for Dan. Dan had something special! Ed Kodis, Coach
